BIBLICAL COUNSELING AT SUMMIT HARVEST CHURCH

  We do not hold a common view of counseling which frequently equates to paid sessions by a professional, secular therapeutic methodologies, and medical diagnoses. Instead, we aim to model, plus help train others, as the Scriptures exhort for all believers. In other words, we aim to strengthen one another particularly in the crises of life by helping people think through their challenges biblically, pointing out pertinent scriptural principles which may apply and calling the saints to stay committed to obedience to God and to the leadership of Jesus Christ in all times – especially in seasons of sufferings and trials. Therefore, counseling at Summit Harvest Church will be readily offered, free of charge, and earnestly “biblio-centric” in philosophy and approach. We trust this paradigm of counseling will become understood by the entire congregation and seen as regular one-another ministry to be shared by all believers in their care for one another. All of us experience seasons of distress and need as part of the human condition.
