THE SUPREMACY OF GOD IN CHRIST

We envision a church where the magnificence of God is proclaimed and honored. We envision a place where heartfelt worship of God is experienced, sometimes exuberantly and with celebration, sometimes reflectively and with great sober-mindedness, sometimes with contemporary musical expression and sometimes honoring the great traditional music heritage of the Church. In all things, we seek to bring honor and preeminence to Jesus Christ. If we love Him, we will obey Him, and our obedience ought be seen in a spirit of unparalleled love for one another and for the rescue of the world's unsaved. We will be characterized by a spirit of mission and evangelism, fullness of prayer, sacrifice, and faithfulness in suffering. What we do – our activity – and how we are – our character – should continually approach conformity to Christ.
