WHAT DO YOU PREACH?

At Summit Harvest, expect to hear expositional messages from the Bible more than topical series, though we present messages and series topically from time to time. What that means is, we are usually tracking through a book or portion of the Scriptures, passage upon passage, in its normal sequence as found in the Bible context itself. We feel this better contributes, over the long haul, toward our mission of helping individuals really come to know the Book.

One of Our Core Values is the Primacy of the Word of God. We believe in the Sufficiency of the Word of God. We believe the Bible is the only complete source which identifies causes and provides solutions to all of life's problems, and that it contains solutions to every problem of attitude, relationships, communication, and behavior. We envision a church which gives due honor to the Bible, uses the Scriptures in every venue of its ministries, and evaluates all decisions and directions by the revelation of the Word of God. We desire the Scriptures to be taught in such a way as to reflect its great breadth of truths, and in such a way as to reflect the balance that biblical truths hold in relation to each other. May all we do be informed by the Word of God.
